Ocean Wedding: 1st Video
Here is the first video I've successfully loaded onto the computer. It's a video of me getting dressed in my kimono. Sorry for all the winking, but it's my fiance with the camera. :)
June 7th, 2008: Ocean Wedding

Some preliminary photos of the first part of my Wedding Announcement Ceremony.
Many co-workers, friends, and well-wishers gathered to support us in our matrimony. They all lined up on the bridge out to a small island, and we stood before them for a large group photo. Here we are on our way to the photo spot.

Motion Capture Tai Chi Trial : Dec 3rd 2004
Well, we're continuing the push for the Experimental Animation final project, which will be due this upcoming Monday. I am particularly interested in trying to work this alliance between Tai Chi and Motion Capture technology. Because Tai Chi is a highly personal, and self-grounding excercise which unites a persons perceptions into their body and its immediacy. Whereas Motion Capturing is largely anonymous, and a divorcing from the original body, to be stored indefinately inside a computer, and recreated, and untied to any one moment. Follow me?
Anyway, it sure sounds cool. But here's what I've got so far...
Watch movie? Watch movie? Watch movie?
By the way, this playblast file will not be permanent. I expect to update, and change this file as soon as I have something to replace it. So this file may dissapear, or change over time. I'll probably let you know when I change it though.
Suggestions?

Motion Capture Tai Chi Trial : Dec 2nd 2004
Hmm... It's a safe bet that anything you do is going to be harder than you think it will be. This is especially the case with Maya, and working in 3D. Please take a look at what I've been working on here.
They're a little warped because of how I compressed them in Premiere, but I think you can ignore the squashed look
Watch the 1st attempt?
Watch the 2nd attempt?
Watch the 3rd attempt?
So...yeah, if any of you are Dylan... or Danny... and you have some suggestions for me. Let me know. I think it's an issue with the models paint weights... I didn't model the polygon mesh dude, by the way. But yes, I think he's really sexy in movie #1 ^_~
